Cynthia Bowser, age 69, was born on June 17, 1954, to Wealtha
M. Harris and the late Willie Harris Jr. Cynthia passed away
peacefully on April 10, 2024.
Cynthia attended Oscar Smith High School. She graduated
and attended Chesapeake Career Center to obtain her LPN
license. She began working for Portsmouth General Hospital
for 25 years and retired. During that time, she received many
awards and certifications for her outstanding service. Cynthia
attended First Baptist Gilmerton and was a member of First
Baptist Church West Munden. She was also a member of Senior
Station located in Portsmouth.
Cynthia was a divorcee. She leaves behind her three beautiful
children Antwan, Antwanette, and Adriane. She was a devoted
mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter,
sister,auntie,and friend. She enjoyed spending time with
family and shopping; perfume and makeup was her favorite.
She always kept candy on hand, especially bubble gum. She
loved playing with her baby doggy “Sammie”. She will be
missed by all who knew her.
Cynthia leaves to cherish her memories, her son; Antwan, her
daughters; Antwanette, Adriane (Tiffaney), her mother;
Wealtha, her sisters; Beverly, Annise, Maureen, her
granddaughters; Tiara, Tamyra, 3 great grandchildren, many
nieces, nephews; aunts and uncle’s and a host of beloved
relatives and friends.
