Purnell Clark

Purnell “Big Red” Clark, loving father, grandfather and brother, passed away peacefully in his home on April 10, 2021. He was the son of the late Russell Lassiter and Joanne Clark. He was predeceased by his daughter’s mother – Deborah Hyshaw.

Purnell attended Portsmouth Public Schools and worked as a Drywall Installer for 33 years. He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sons – La’Nell and Da’Nell Clark; daughter – Da’Jah Clark; four granddaughters – Alana, Alaiija, Alessa and Amari. Purnell also leaves to cherish  behind three brothers – Booker T. Clark (Denise); Alphonso (Belinda) and Milton Clark; the mother of his sons – Regina Blunt and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
