Ernest C. Banks, 79, departed this life on December 16, 2016.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016, 12 Noon at Community Church, 1935 Jolliff Rd., Chesapeake, VA  23321.  Interment will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, VA. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 21st from 12 Noon to 8 pm at the funeral home.
