Jessie Batten

Jessie “Bay Bay” Batten, 74 of Portsmouth, Va was called home on May 7, 2025. He was born in Isle Wight County to te late Della Atkins and Otis Batten. Jessie was loved by his family and love to have a good time.
He was predeceded in death by his late wife Eunice Batten. Also Jessie was predeced by his siblings four brothers George Batten,Walter Lee Diggs,William Diggs and Otis Parker and one sister Dorothy Blackwell Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughte Celia Batten-Cross, stepdaughter Lisa Morgan, and one son Jessie Batten Jr. Also his grandchildren Whitney Mitchell,Keonna Batten,Jaquan St. Ann and Jessica Copeland and eight great grandchildren Dakiya, Aniya, Aubree, Davell, Santonio, Jaquan Jr,,Ava and Ja’Saya. A host of step grandchildren,nieces, nephews and friends.
