Cynthia L. Alston

Cynthia L. Alston, 67, of Chesapeake, Virginia slipped away from her earthly body and received her eternal rest on April 29, 2022.

She was predeceased in death by her parents, Roy and Louise Alston; and two siblings Calvin T. Alston and Rita A. Turner.

She received her education from Chesapeake Public Schools and attended Virginia State University.  She served in the United States Marine Corps where she received an honorable discharge.  During her early years, she was a member of First Baptist Church Crestwood, where she faithfully served on the Usher’s ministry and played the piano for Sunday school.

Cynthia leaves to cherish her memory; one sister; Faye A. Owens, one brother; Roy A Alston Jr., one uncle; Milton Alston, three nephews; Isaiah L. Owens Jr., Eric W. Owens (Shelly), Keven T. Alston, and one niece; Patrice O. Morrison.  She also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends.
