Lona C. Burton, 89, of Portsmouth, Va., transitioned on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son-Leigh M. Burton, Sr. (Eugenia); grandchildren-Kimberly (Brian), Leigh, Jr. (Mignon), Kristina; a grandson-Xavier E. Burton; four sisters, three brothers, and a host of relatives and friends.
Her husband of 55 years, Coley Burton and her parents-Rev. Willie Croom and Nona Morris Croom precede her in death. | |
