Tony Eugene Vincent, 60, of Portsmouth, Virginia peacefully passed away on December 5, 2023, at Autumn Care of Norfolk.
Tony was born on October 9, 1963, to loving parents Alfield and Carolyn Vincent of Portsmouth, Virginia.
After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School (c/o 1984), he landed employment with the Portsmouth Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy. After working with the department, Tony decided to start a career as a Long-Distance Truck Driver. During that time, Tony traveled throughout the United States. He enjoyed coming home and telling stories of what he saw and did on his travels. Tony cheered on the Washington Commanders faithfully and is the true definition of a Superfan.
Tony was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. He was the life of any gathering as he loved to show off his dance moves and making everyone laugh. Tony will be remembered for his loving and caring heart. A day didn’t go by that he didn’t call, send a text or an inspirational quote to lift your spirits up. Tony was a genuine brother, cousin, and friend. He was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need.
Tony is predeceased by his mother Carolyn Vincent, grandparents Alonzo and Roselyn Harris and Charlie and Vinni Vincent, uncle and aunt James and Clarine Cannady, and sister-in-law Vicki Vincent. He is survived by his children, Jameka Vincent and Tony Vincent, Jr., father Alfield Vincent , brothers Troy Vincent and Craig Vincent (Angie), grandchildren Jamye Vincent, Jordyn Vincent, Jaylen Vincent, Hayliana Vincent, and Zayden Vincent. Tony is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
