Elmer Battle, 80, passed away March 2, 2016. Devoted brother of Thelma Burks and Annetta Taylor and a host of family and friends. Viewing will be held from 12-8 pm at Corprew Funeral Home, 1822 Portsmouth Blvd., Portsmouth, VA on March 9th. A homegoing celebration will be held on March 10th at 11 am at St. James Episcopal Church, 928 Effingham Street, Portsmouth.
